Kelly is the founder of East London Pilates and has been a healthy, happy Pilates teacher and personal fitness trainer for over 10 years. Before she re-trained in the fitness industry, Kelly enjoyed a fast paced City career so understands how difficult it can be for the office worker to maintain good postural alignment.
Kelly, herself a keen runner, aerobics and group exercise instructor has found that incorporating the principles of Pilates into her other fitness work means that the risk of injury is reduced and technique is improved. She is passionate about the Pilates technique and believes that everyone can benefit from the matwork method.
She is based in Docklands and the City and currently teaches at Virgin Active, Reebok and within various corporate sites around the E1 and E14 area. Kelly is available for 1:1 PT, Pilates and Massage sessions in the local East London area.
Zoe gained her Masters in Osteopathic Medicine in July 2010, her busy practice is based at the Reebok Sports Club in Canary Wharf. The British College of Osteopathic Medicine has since invited her back to the University to become a lecturer.
Having previously worked as a Sports Therapist Zoe combines her 15 years experience as a successful personal trainer with Polestar Pilates training to help clients achieve optimal performance, improve posture, manage chronic health and exercise rehabilitation.Zoe believes it is important that Pilates should be an individual experience in order to remove restrictions and restore correct function of the spine, improve breathing patterns and lengthen muscles, to create a stronger yet supple physique. Zoe's professional and caring nature make her a valuable part of the team and popular with participants.
Emily has been a member of the ELP teaching team for over 4 years, she is a passionate, warm & enthusiastic teacher who believes that classes should be fun with a bit of hard work thrown in. With her endless energy she easily motivates others to improve, advance and above all ENJOY classes. She believes everyone should feel they are welcome within a class no matter what level or ability, she will always find a way to change/adapt an exercise to suit. This is helped by her wealth of knowledge as she is also a qualified Yoga teacher, personal trainer, sports massage therapist, ante/post natal, and level 4 lower back pain specialist.
Magda began her journey with corrective exercise and Pilates after experiencing a series of injuries from semi-professional sporting career at a young age as well as desk bound job.
She joined East London Pilates team in 2010 and is passionate about ELP approach to teaching.
Alongside her activities as a Pilates teacher Magda continued to develop her knowledge of Sports Massage and is now fully qualified BTEC level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist, operating a busy clinic at BP in Canary Wharf.
She believes that Pilates and Sports Massage are a perfect combination in correcting posture, relieving or managing pain, improving breathing and well being.
Magda is available for 1:1 Pilates in East London and City as well as Sports Massage in East London.
East London based Jeannie has been in the fitness industry all her working life. Extensively qualified, with a wealth of experience from over 10 years at Virgin Active Jeannie turned freelance and became an instructor in STOTT Pilates in August 2008 and a Reformer instructor in 2010. This is complemented with a Diploma in Nutrition (BCNH).
Jeannie is an inspirational teacher who loves her work. She is passionate about how Pilates can help be life enhancing whether you want improved posture, greater flexibility, stronger core stability or to help prevent injury. Jeannie's belief that Pilates is a whole body fitness approach is what drives her to help you become the very best version of you.

Danielle has been working in the fitness industry for the last 8 years after originally training as a Sports Therapist. She spends her time these days delivering pilates classes, one to one sessions as well as personal training in North London.
She is the newest member of the ELP team having trained in the Stott method of Pilates at the Central YMCA. So far her repertoire includes essential, intermediate and advanced levels of matwork, as well as ante and post natal and soon to include reformer work too.
Danielle believes that most people could benefit from pilates as it is extremely adaptable. Its appeal is wide ranging from young to old, and includes all walks of life from elite athletes all the way through to those returning from illness or injury.
Danielle's own training has most recently included preparing for marathons and 10km runs and makes pilates an essential part of her preparation.
Pilates can be for anyone and everyone.
Amanda’s passion for fitness and movement started with her first dance class at the age of six. Since then she has been a dedicated Pilates and Yoga student travelling around the world for a few years to learn from great teachers like Alex Medin, Iain Clark, Dena Kingsberg and Kathryn Budig. On her return she decided to combine her two passions people and movement and become a teacher.
With over 10 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry, much of it spent working closely with different fitness approaches and other health professionals. This coupled with her qualifications, an MA in language and communication, Yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and fully qualified in Stott Pilates, the most world recognised contemporary, anatomically-based approach. Her natural empathy for people and her inherent affinity for technical precision, leaves her uniquely placed to help people from all walks of life.
Amanda is a very well established teacher in the corporate environment her clients include Clifford Chance, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Citibank,and Freshfield. She is also a regular teacher at Virgin Active canary wharf.
Prior to the UK Amanda was based in Italy in the Dolomites mountains where she was working closely with professional climbers and skiers preparing for expedition on the Himalaya, working on Pranayama exercises to adjust to altitude and relaxing techniques.
Amanda classes are focused on anatomical alignment and precision to maximise the benefits they are vigorous and challenging but never forgetting the importance of enjoying it, having fun and practising with a smile.
Michelle originally trained as a professional dancer and began working in fitness in 2008 in group exercise as a freelance instructor. Having practiced Pilates as part of her dance training for many years and being very passionate about the benefits, in 2009 she gained her Level 2 Mat Pilates Fundamentals Qualification through Future Fit Training and joined the ELP team. Most recently she gained her Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork through Active IQ and is now fully qualified personal trainer. Michelle is very passionate about encouraging participants to develop a greater understanding of the workings of their own body in order to really benefit from their sessions and improve their quality of life. Being a Hyper Mobility sufferer, she also has an excellent understanding of the special needs of people with this joint issue. She is very personable and enjoys building a friendly and relaxed environment in her classes.
Michelle also works as Group Exercise Manager for the Mayfair and Chelsea Virgin Active Health Clubs, where she also teaches, Anti Gravity Yoga, WillPower and Grace, Body Balance and FIERCE African dance class. Based in Fulham West London, she is available for 1-1 Pilates sessions in the local area upon request.
