We offer classes for all levels and it's essential that all clients start with a Beginners class to ensure that they learn the basics before progressing to more advanced levels.
Beginners – designed to introduce you to the fundamental concepts and principles of the Pilates Method. This involves learning and practising core strength awareness, muscular flexibility, joint mobility and postural alignment.
Improvers (Level 2) - once you have established an understanding of the method, we aim to challenge you by teaching a flowing practice. These classes focus on improving your awareness of your personal strengths and weaknesses so you can refine and progress.
Yogalates – a Hybrid class incorporating yoga and Pilates open to all levels. A class that fuses the dynamic elements of yoga with the stabilising and strengthening elements of pilates practice. This class is designed for those that want to be a little more physically active and incorporates standing strength work and Yogic Sun salutations in addition to Pilates matwork based exercises

Kelly is the founder of East London Pilates and has been a healthy, happy Pilates teacher and personal fitness trainer for over 10 years. Before she re-trained in the fitness industry, Kelly enjoyed a fast paced City career so understands how difficult it can be for the office worker to maintain good postural alignment.
Kelly, herself a keen runner, aerobics and group exercise instructor has found that incorporating the principles of Pilates into her other fitness work means that the risk of injury is reduced and technique is improved. She is passionate about the Pilates technique and believes that everyone can benefit from the matwork method.
She is based in Docklands and the City and currently teaches at Virgin Active, Reebok and within various corporate sites around the E1 and E14 area. Kelly is available for 1:1 PT, Pilates and Massage sessions in the local East London area.
Zoe gained her Masters in Osteopathic Medicine in July 2010, her busy practice is based at the Reebok Sports Club in Canary Wharf. The British College of Osteopathic Medicine has since invited her back to the University to become a lecturer. Having previously worked as a Sports Therapist Zoe combines her 15 years experience as a successful personal trainer with Polestar Pilates training to help clients achieve optimal performance, improve posture, manage chronic health and exercise rehabilitation. Zoe believes it is important that Pilates should be an individual experience in order to remove restrictions and restore correct function of the spine, improve breathing patterns and lengthen muscles, to create a stronger yet supple physique. Zoe's professional and caring nature make her a valuable part of the team and popular with participants.

Magda has been training and competing in various sports including volleyball, horse riding and Tae Kwon-Do between the ages 7 and 19, when an ankle injury (damaged joint capsule) finished her career in sports. After a year long rehabilitation, she's started teaching aerobics, step, boxing and cycle classes and after getting yet more injuries, she's discovered Pilates and corrective exercise and quickly moved on to becoming an instructor.
Magda has also worked as a Group Exercise Manager at the Reebok Sports Club in Canary Wharf, London where she's experienced the effects of desk job, increased stress levels and long working hours on the body.
It is the Pilates and Sports Massage that not only helped her with injuries over the years but also with managing stress levels and correcting posture. After receiving treatments for many years, Magda has developed even more interest in human body and the connection with massage and is now qualified Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist with the prestigious North London School of Sports Massage.
Magda is a long standing member of the East London Pilates team, treats and trains private corporate clients in Canary Wharf and City, runs a busy sports massage clinic at BP in Canary Wharf and a Home clinic in E3, she also volunteers with the London Wasps rugby club.

Pilates can be for anyone and everyone.
My teaching journey started 12 years ago while working as an investment banker in the city, back then Pilates and yoga helped me to counterbalance a stressful job. After 3 years I then decided to leave the banking behind to go and explore the world. After years of travelling and learning from great teachers like Alex Medin, Iain Clark, Dena Kingsberg and Kathryn Budig I am now a registered yoga teacher under the Yoga Alliance UK. My pilates journey started even earlier when at the age of 21 I left my dance career to focus on my studies and Pilates has been the natural development.
I have been teaching since 2006 with various methods but namely Ashtanga,Yin, Vinyasa Flow and Pilates. Most of my teaching experience is based in the Dolomites mountains where I have been working closely with professional climbers and skiers preparing for an expedition on the Himalaya, working on Pranayama exercises to adjust to altitude and relaxing techniques.
I am an enthusiast of people and enjoy sharing the experience and knowledge I have gained so far. My energetic and vigorous style is influenced by my passion for dance and for the outdoors. As a former corporate professional I understand the importance of a Pilates class that balances stress release and building of stamina.
I place particular attention to alignment and details but never forgetting the importance of enjoying it, having fun and practising with a smile.
